Wolverine gives us a full preview of their upcoming Fall/Winter 2010 "1000 Mile" collection.   Based loosely on a concept of "reliving" the past in a sense, Wolverine had no problems combing through a  125 year-old archive of classic products to find inspiration.  This obviously is NOT for the trendy, but if you come from where we come from, you understand the concept of Time.  Here at The Westmere Estate, we strive to create what we call the Perfect Wardrobe.  A complete collection of clothing garments that can be worn, transported, worn out, dogged, restored, etc., and remain in rotation for the rest of your life.  TIMELESS.  Wolverine is of course, one of those brands., thus the reason, I am giving them so much run.  My taste is a little eccentric at some times, but some of these are just way too clunky for me.  I usually only do the boots (Those hunting joints are illll) but Oxfords are always good for certain situations.  Some of the chunky, clog-looking low-tops are out of my element, but hey....its your life (BUT....we are definitely gonna cut you up if you decide to skip up Lenox wearing them sh*ts...!   Go see  S.A....and have someone press record...guaranteed jokes for months!).  Luckily I edited the collection down to fit the Westmere Estate's standards.  (Please...in advance...excuse the 1 shot of said chunky clogs and understand that the photo was merchandised too well for me not to post.)  Shouts to Maikoiyo Alley-Barnes...our partner, brother, co-conspirator!  When my Wolverines get worn out from my Texas bird hunting escapades, Maikoiyo will help me bring them back to their original illness.  He is THE master of restoration (go see him at Pun(c)tuation or Ar(c)hive in Seattle and watch him do wonders with a vintage LV duffel or Jordan OG 1s...Brand NEW!).
