Raekwon: Cocainism Vol.2

Just in time for my memorial day excursion back to the A (yeah again..), Raekwon and The Brinks Boyz present Cocainism Vol. 2. Street records, dumb slanguage, and endless tales of opulence and fly sh*t in general. What's better than that? ... especially for an impromptu trip OT. The kind where you really only have a 2-hr window to get all your sh*t together, get a cut (Ray @ 4Star..145th/Amsterdam), and get to the airport. This is the perfect score for that particular movie scene. Ok, well maybe it's perfect for a few other scenes too...like say, the one where you have to pack up the Tahoe and do a light run down I-95. I, happen to be to doing the Laguardia to Hartsfield thing, so it definitely works for my movie (cab scene, running through the airport scene, strange yet romantic encounter scene...you get the point). Rae has an incredible ability to manipulate slang into vivid street tales, although I'm not sure if anybody out side of the New York City area understands what the f*%k he's talking about half the time. Fortunately, WE, know EXACTLY what he's talking about. His affinity for all-things-ill, like dope luggage, vintage YSL, and good Benzes (S, CL, SLs only...save the others for your sisters/girls/baby mammas/sidechicks) falls right in line with our philosophies. With that said, I offer my current travel soundscape to you. I recommend Alphabet Soup, City of God, Dragon Style, Piss in the Shark Tank...etc etc etc...Shouts to the Wu-Tang Clan (RIP Dirt), Mel T, and Raekwon for always keeping these clowns under control. Oh, and Shouts to Staten Island even though I never go out there (ferry? No!)
